Nutritional advice

If your dog isn't showing any signs of aging and is doing well on adult food (e.g., adult or lamb rice), you don't necessarily need to switch to senior food just because your dog is a certain age. Furthermore, if your dog tolerates it and isn't hypersensitive, you can add some variety to your dog's diet. For example, combine kibble with wet food or fresh meat, or give your dog regular treats like a snack or chew.

NB!Dogs with kidney problems often have a poorer appetite and can become very picky about what they will and will not eat. BF®Petfood Senior is very well accepted and has reduced protein, phosphorus, and sodium content. In addition to our Senior dry food, we recommend the betterwet foodDue to its low protein content, the quality of which is excellent, and its high moisture content, which can be caused by excessive urination. We also recommend our senior food for (street) dogs from abroad due to its limited protein and fat content, resulting from a rapid transition to a high-protein, high-fat diet.
